Iron King Mine Superfund Site

In October 2022, EPA issued the Feasibility Study Report for the Iron King Mine / Humboldt Smelter Superfund Site. This extensive study is a key part of the Superfund process.  It identifies, evaluates, and compares comprehensive cleanup options for the site. Community members are encouraged to review the proposed plan and provide input to the EPA during the public comments period from March 15 – May 13, 2023.

Extended Due Dates Still Apply to Items Checked Out Before May 19th


As businesses and services in Yavapai County take careful steps to resume near-normal activities, access to materials at libraries county-wide increases, too. With most public libraries offering curbside pickup, physical books and videos are flowing again and due dates are returning to normal.
